Making our own paint stampers

Many people wonder how much it actually costs to Home ed your children, and I simply tell them it's as expensive as you, the parents, make it. You don't necessarily have to go out and spend a fortune, with a bit of creativity you can make it cheap and cheerful!!

We enjoy experimenting making our own paintbrushes and stampers from various materials which have been a great hit with the little ones. In the past we have made our own brushes from flowers and leaves tied to sticks, other natural materials to stamp with such as pine cones and of course the good old loo rolls you've been saving since you decided to Home ed.

Today we have made some stampers using packaging material from the stationery we recently bought. We rolled, cut and tied it up in various shapes and left out for the youngest to have fun with!
