Mixing Primary Colours

It was a lovely sunny morning so we headed into the garden for an Art lesson on mixing colours with DS5 and messy play for DD2.

We started by painting each of his hands with a primary colour and printing them on paper. He then rubbed his hands together to make his secondary colour which he then printed in the middle. (See pics below)

Later in the afternoon we discussed primary, secondary & tertiary colours using this fun colour mixing game and paint pad.
